Jason Hoard went from drug addict to Teen Challenge Worker

Our monthly Saturday Breakfast, 9 am at the Charter House Hotel

Jason originally lived in Calgary.  As a young person he was a " straight A" student.  He was raised in a non-Christian home where he saw his mom using drugs.  When he picked up using drugs he dropped out of school.  After 5 years of being a heroin and cocaine addict, he got sick of living that kind of life and tried to kill himself with an overdose of heroin.  And when that didn't work he cried out to a God, that he didn't even know if He existed, and God brought him out of that life.

Special Guest:  Andrew Martin, testimony & music

Andrew was born and raised in Napanee Ontario.  He grew up in the church, and has always been aware of the Gospel.  He became a Christian when he was a child.   He and his parents and Grandparents all made decisions to follow Christ, as Children, and that is why he believes that even a child can make life-changing decisions.
When he was 18 he sang in a group for the FGBMF Banquets.  He is now a full-time Gospel singer.  He believes that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers us with better decision-making skills.  The Holy Spirit can quicken our minds to give the right answers in dealing with every day people, and bring the Scriptures to mind so we can witness and lead people to Christ.
